| It's been a long time since i've updated, but lets see, today sucked to say the least. My wallet was stolen, and i had just cashed my checks from work the day before and forgot to take all the money out and put it somewhere safe....so i lost roughly $600, not to mention my drivers license, credit card, and a bunch of other random important stuff. BUT, i'm trying to look at the other side of things, bc it's not the end of the world, i can survive without that money, but it is still frustrating. As zack said to cheer me up, "you can't take money into heaven" haha thanks for the uplifting comment. I know that God will def. provide and wouldnt give me this if i couldn't handle it and work through it, but still, it sucks having to deal with. Anyways, I got to hang out with cath, vance, and chels last night! i hadn't seen any of them in forever! It really made my day! um right now i think i might go do some summer reading and then maybe see what's up tonight and see what everyone is doing! check ya later- car | | |
| So today was a very overcast, muggy day. The hurricane that is
moving into Florida is a catagory 4! That's huge! It's hitting right at
Gulf Shores, which is where i used to go to the beach ALL THE TIME when
i was little. But I'm praying that no one gets hurt by the storm
and that as little damage as possible is done! Let's see, my day went
kind of like this. Woke up, went to church which put me in a
good mood for the rest of the day, then went to lunch with my sister
and my boss/really good friend Chip and his wife and their little girl
abby! who is soooo cute! Then after that, erin and i went shopping,
came home laid around, got motivated, cleaned my room, then went to my
church and played black-light dodge ball with my youth group...it's so
fun, we invented it at rockbridge and the kids love it so we
decided to play it with the youth group tonight. Then i went to
wendy's and brusters- thanks to matt reid for the free ice cream!
So then, we're leaving, and my friend zack decides he wants to drive my
car, so i let him...and he scared the absolute crap out of me bc he
rolled the window down and hit the side of my car with his hand as he
was pulling out of a parking spot and i thought i was going to have a
heart attack, bc honestly, he did a pretty good fake "holy crap i just
hit something with your car" face. Anyways, now im home, dreading
the fact that tommorw i have to go to softball camp at lovett for 6
HOURS...but then i'm hoping i'll get to hang out with some friends
later!! No one has been in town at all this summer, but i know of a few
friends...i'll call them up and see what they are doing! The drama
that's been going on lately is craaaaazy but like vance said i think
that in the long run and for senior year, it's the best thing
that could've happend! but i know it's going to be hard for awhile
for things not to be akward vancey! but your girls are here for
you always and forever!! and chan i miss you and hope you're having SO
MUCH FUN in Italy! Dontcha like my pic? haha new years...good times!

| Well I just finished setting up my Xanga which i used to make fun of my sister for doing, but hey, i decided to give it a try. Vance told me she had just started doing it and that it actually is pretty cool. So let's see, today was my first break from work all week so i went shopping with Bethany and got some cute stuff. I work at Rockbridge day camp at my church with a bunch of awesome people. The kids can get kinda bothersome after a few weeks with them but for the most part i love it! ok so that's it for now- i'll write later when i'm feeling inspired haha Xanga
